Block #2 of 4 is done! None of these blocks will be exactly the same. I made one adjustment to the draft to make it easier to piece. Can you tell where it is?
This is going to be amazing!!! I once did a class (in my early days of I don't know what I'm doing on my own) and we made huge blocks and I did mine all in homespuns. Wish I still had it...
It doesn't seem possible, but I have been quilting for close to 30 years! I worked and taught in local quilt shops for many of those years. 15 years ago, I fell in love with all things vintage and in 2003 opened a retail website (Hollyhock Quilts) to sell vintage quilty things, particularly feedsacks. From there I expanded into quilt design and publishing patterns, designing feedsack inspired fabrics for P&B and then Maywood, and writing a book on feedsacks entitled "Sugar Sack Quilts". These days I spend most of my time selling vintage goodies on eBay and Etsy. We are trying to travel more for pleasure and doing the things we didn't have time for when I was working so much. We have a great life and want to enjoy it!
