Anyway, this piece was made from a combination of new and antique fabrics. I probably made this 15 years ago. I had bought some old blocks similar to this which was my inspiration. Of course, I had to take them apart to reuse them, but that's part of the fun for me! My quilt friends swear they only see me taking things apart and never putting them back together again!
This quilt was paper pieced and finished with vintage buttons. Didn't even do any quilting on it! :o) Very scrappy and very fun to make!
Still working on the new bed quilt. Block #3 is done and almost finished sewing #4.
See you next time~

Fabulous--thank you for sharing such an inspiring quilt!
Oh wow, love it! And it looks like a great way to use up leftover scraps.
I've been admiring the vintage bed quilt you are making, such a nice collection of prints there.
Oh, that wheel quilt is adorable, too, I've had one bookmarked in a magazine for a while. Love your creativity!

Oh my! That quilt is magnificent. My eyes can't decided where they should focus, just keep bouncing from one area to another. And really like the new/old blocks in progress.
Both are just beautiful, but I love love LOVE the one you're making now for your bed. Beautiful scrappy fabrics! :)
Happy Weekend, My Friend!
