This little piece is composed of vintage barkcloth for the house (which I can't seem to get enough of since making my bed quilt), a vintage pink polka dot and floral for the background. Since there was gold flecks in the barkcloth piece, I thought metallic gold rickrack was perfect for it! Otherwise embellished with vintage buttons, rickrack and other trim. An aqua feedsack is on the back and wrapped to the front for finishing. All the pieces were cut freehand without a pattern and free motion quilted. Seriously need to work on my quilting!
Another little piece is in progress. Will share it when it's done. Hope you're having a fabulous week!
See you next time~

The little house is SO cute!!
Absolutely adorable and I love the colors, trims, and buttons you've used. And yes, the POLKA DOTS! Any chance you'll get back into pattern designing or book writing.
I love everything! What a wonderful stash you must have!
What an adorable house block! I love the scalloped binding and the tied buttons! You really have a gift for this, Glenna!
Cheers!
Cuteness! I'm seeing a lot of houses in blogland lately, but yours is really snazzy.
I love the use of barkcloth. The house is darling.
So cute! I love the shingle-look quilting on the roof.
And the fabrics are wonderful!
