This precious wall hanging will brighten up any space.  Simple

piecing and fusible appliqué make it easy, even for a beginner. 

The use of rickrack adds to the vintage charm.

  • (9) scraps at least 6" square for the baskets

  • (9) scraps at least 3" square for the blooms

  • (9) scraps at least 1½" square for the bloom centers

  • (9) green scraps at least 3" square for the leaves

  • 1 yard of (4) fabrics for corner triangles (chicken wire)

  • 2 1/2 yards for long sashing strips (rooster)

  • 5 yards fabric for backing

  • 3/4 yard fabric for binding

Cock-Tails

This darling tablerunner will start your day out right! It is so easy and great for using 5" charm squares and novelty fabrics that you want show in large pieces.  If you choose to add some fussy cut images to the body of squares, you can easily fuse them as I have.

  • 1/2 yard red dot for sashing and binding

Mimi's Garden

  • (4) long 1/8 yards (4½" x width of fabric) for the border
  • 1/3 yard fabric for the binding

  • (1) yard green rickrack for the stems

Square Dance

The quilt shown on the cover was made using Glenna's Bees Knees" fabric for Maywood Studio and is easily made using a bundle of fat eighths.  The arcs are fused onto the background square, eliminating the need for curved piecing.  A wide variety of fabrics adds to the visual impact.

  • 36 fat eighths (approx. 9" x 22")

  • 1/3 yard yellow dot for inner border

  • 1  1/2 yards red print for borders

  • 1/2 yard red print for binding

  • 3 1/4 yards (your choice) for backing

Magic Stars!

This easy quilt is made of alternating squares and Square-in-a-Square blocks.  You do not actually make any stars.  They appear by 'magic' with the proper setting of the blocks

  • 1/3 yard blue dot

  • 3/8 yard dark red print

My Tulip Garden

A sweet and simple fat quarter quilt!

This lovely fat quarter friendly quilt adds a touch of springtime to your décor!  It's easy and fun to make, too!  I have used a fusible technique for the appliqué (my own tips and techniques included), but you may use any appliqué method you prefer.

       You'll need:

  • 28 fat quarters for pieced blocks and tulips
  • A variety of background fabrics for tulip blocks to equal 1½ yards
  • 2 yards border fabric
  • 4¼ yards of backing fabric
  • ½ yard binding fabric
  • Lightweight fusible web

Two quilts in one pattern!

These cute little quilts are fast and easy to make for your favorite little "Cowboy" or "Sweetheart"!  They are identical except for the Stars vs. Flowers and the border treatment.  I have included instructions for both quilts with the changes for the "Girls" quilt in parentheses.
