I'm very pleased to announce the opening of my new store on Etsy.com! If you're not familiar with Etsy, it has had some great press lately in Country Living, Mary Englebreit's magazine and others. The site is specifically for artists and crafters to sell their handmade work and purchase supplies to make their items. You'll also find vintage goodies of all kinds there. I will be selling feedsacks, vintage fabrics, vintage kitchen linens, sewing collectibles and other antique and collectible items. You'll also find reproduction fabrics from my out-of- print collections at discounted prices! There is not much listed out there now, but check back often for fun things. I am impressed with how easy Etsy is for both buyer and seller. It is NOT an auction format. You can make your purchase immediately at the price listed. If you're not already registered, it's a breeze and they make purchasing very simple. You'll still deal directly with me and will pay the same way that you do on my website. You may wonder why I chose to open an Etsy store rather than sell those items on my website. In a nutshell, the software to run the website is not real user friendly and I'm well, DUMB when it comes to programming! Bill for some reason doesn't want to spend his days listing one-of-a-kind items for me and taking them off when they sell. He thinks he'd rather be golfing or something silly like that. Give Etsy a try! I think you'll love it. Visit my Etsy store now
