A little about me -- my name is Glenna Hailey. I’ve been quilting for fun and profit for about 25 years. I worked and taught in quilt shops in Tulsa, OK for several of those years. I’m married to a terrific guy named Bill without whom this business would not exist. He’s the computer guy, the accountant, the money guy at shows and lectures, the shipping clerk, the fat quarter cutter and folder, and as he says, his most important task is being the “mule”! For many years now, I have been collecting and using feedsacks and vintage fabrics almost exclusively. My collection was falling out of my shelves and heading toward the ceiling, so a few years ago, I came to the conclusion that it was time to share some of the bounty and Hollyhock Quilts was born! I began designing fabric in 2005 and I am now working with Maywood Studio. Most of my designs are “feedsack inspired” or reproductions. You’ll also find original patterns designed for feedsack/reproduction fabrics as well as those I design especially for my fabric collections.
